The Fein Jacket is a reversible, quilted crepe jacket with embroidered mirror detailing. Mirror work was initially developed in 13th century Persia, where mirrors were believed to reflect bad luck and evil spirits away from the wearer. The tradition made its way to India in the 17th century, where artisans began creating work in this style.
This piece is proudly made by artisans in India, in a female founded factory that Nikki visited on her honeymoon. She then wore the jacket for the whole trip. Like many of our pieces, it somehow manages to be both a statement piece and a wardrobe staple that you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again.
